VH flays Naidu on BC card

Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao today criticized Telugu Desam Chief N Chandrababu Naidu for playing BC card for the general elections. Addressing a press conference here he accused Naidu of deceving BC leaders and people in the state. Responding to some media reports that the TD is planning to offer Chief Minister post to BC leader R Krishnaiah, VH made it light as it is not possible. Despite his repeated promises of giving priority to BCs Naidu failed to keep them, he said.
Predicting that the Telugu Desam will not get two digit seats in Telangana he said that there is no need to say about its poll prospects in Seemandhra region. During elections Naidu will lure the BC leaders to get the votes of BC community and later he dumps them, the congress leader alleged. Naidu is known for cheating the leaders and people should be vary of his nefarious designs, Rao said. The Telugu Desam will not get adequate number of seats in the Telangana region, wherein the Congress is set to form the government, VH said. The Congress kept the promise of giving statehood to Telangana and will sure win in the general elections. People of the region will sure repose their faith on the Congress leadership he said.
Hanumantha Rao took serious exception to Jana Sena president and actor Pawan Kalyan for his tirade agaisnt the Congress leadership. He was critical that the actor was losing mental balance and talking only nonsense. People will not encourage Pawan who is indulging in a useless talk, he said. He lambasted the actor for saying that Congress Hatao and Desh Bachao. Let us see what the actor will do at social front, he said. (NSS)
