VH flays Babu, Modi

Congress candidate in Amberpet and MP V Hanumanth Rao today slammed BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for targeting AICC leadership during his campaigning in Telangana in four districts.
Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, VH dubbed Modi as a ‘Demon’ in guise of a human noted for promoting hatred and promoting communal conflicts. He faulted the BJP and TDP for involving actor Pawan Kalyan for Modi campaigns. Where was the need to involve the actor when Modi wave was on in the country?, he asked.
VH alleged that Modi was behind the Godhra massacre. He expressed concern what would happen to the nation if he becomes prime minister as a section of media is giving much hype to Modi. He also accused Telugu Desam Chief N Chandrababu Naidu of running a family party. He condemned Naidu for his remarks that the Congress is a family party. The BJP and TDP got an impious alliance he alleged.
“We need a secular government that can be given by the Congress. The people should keep in mind the Godhra like incidents will recur and decide whom they wanted to be at the Centre”, Rao said. He said that this time there is no chance for upper caste leaders to become Chief Minister if the Congress comes to power. Either BC or SC leader may become a Chief Minister, he said, adding that one should have luck to become a CM or PM, he observed. (NSS)
