Emphasizing the need for catching the big fish involved in irregularities of government lands, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao today suggested the TRS Government to take necessary steps.
Talking to press persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Rao said that the successive Governments have allegedly allotted lands to businessmen and leaders of Seemandhra in violation of norms.He hastened to add that land allotted to Lanco Hills also allegedly involved some irregularities. Former Congress MP, Lagadapti Rajagopal owns Lanco Hills and the government should take immediate action, he said. Those who were at the helm of affairs amassed wealth by giving away the lands to their relatives, leaders and through illegal means, he criticized. The land in the clutches of bigwigs must be taken back by the government without any favor, he suggested.
Hanumantha Rao flayed that the TRS Government for dillydallying on its much famous crop loan waiver promise. He accused the TRS Government of adopting delaying tactics as it lacks any clarity. (NSS)
