Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has stated that it was atrocious on the part of Madhya Pradesh state government to resort to firing against the farmers, who came on roads demanding minimum support price.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, VH alleged that the condition was same in all BJP ruled states like the conditions prevailed in Madhya Pradesh state. Condemning the attack on CPM national general secretary Seetharam Yechuri, VH said that all political parties were trying to attract BC votes. He asked the Congress party to chalk out an action plan to get the support of BCs. He said he addressed a letter to the party to invite AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi to the meeting of BCs. (NSS)
