Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has questioned Telugu cine hero Pawan Kalyan, who had proclaimed that he would fight against corruption, as to why he kept silent now and demanded the latter to say whether buying of MLAs was right or wrong.
Speaking to the media at Assembly media point here on Saturday, VH said AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was resorting to counter attacks to escape from the ‘note-for-vote’ scam. He opined that it was not proper on the part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders to keep mum on Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajastan Chief Minister Vasundara Raje, who were involved in IPL former chairman Lalith Modi issue, and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘note-for-vote’ scam. VH also questioned the Centre, which ordered CBI inquiries against Congress Chief Ministers Veerbhadra Singh and Shanker Singh Vaghela, as to why it was not ordering CBI inquiry into the NDA leaders’ corruption.
