Ahmed Khan, senior journalist and vice president of Karnataka Urdu Reporters Forum has appealed to the Muslim community to cast their votes in great number infavour of secular candidates to defeat the communal forces.
He says “after independence this is most crucial election. The divisive and communal forces guided by RSS are trying hard to garner the support of voters to capture the power.”
If the division of secular votes take place, this will directly benefits BJP. Among secular votes, Mr. Khan observes that majority of secular voters have opted Congress. Now Muslim community should also unitedly support the Congress to keep fascist forces at bay. Mr. Khan further said that the BJP is the party which has shown its true colour often and often by organizing Rath Yatra; demolishing Babri Masjid; engineering Gujrat Carnage and raising voice for uniform civil code; putting thousands of innocent youth behind bar in the pretext of terrorism.
