Veteran Telugu Actor Rajendra Prasad was hospitalised after he complained of chest pain, here today. The 56-year-old actor was admitted to Care Hospital located at Banjara Hills in the city with chest pain. ‘ His condition was stated to be stable, according to hospital sources here. ‘He’s perfectly fine now and likely to be discharged in the night’, the sources said. In his three decades of film career, the actor has starred in over 200 films, mainly in Telugu. He earned the title of ‘King of Comedy’ after starring in some of the best comedies.
He also won the prestigious Nandi awards twice for ‘Erra Mandaram’ (1991) and ‘Aa Naluguru’ (2004). UNI
