Honourary president of YSR Congress Mrs. Vijayamma said that Congress government made Venkataramana a scapegoat in order to send Jagan Mohan Reddy to jail. She further stated that Rajshekhar Reddy with his hard work brought Congress to power again but the government watered down his efforts and included his name in the charge-sheet. People are seeing the conspiracies of Congress and Telugu Desam hence she urged the party leaders and workers to work diligently to raise YSR Congress flag on Panchayat Raj institutions.
On the occasion Harinath Babu, brother of former minister M Venkataramana claimed that Congress has done injustice to his family. He asserted that his family members served Congress for 25 years but the Congress cheated his brother that’s why he felt suffocated in the Congress party.
