Venkaiah sure of BJP getting majority in Ballot war

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu today expressed hope that the party would get majority in the coming general elections.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Naidu said party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is a leader, who can protect the country and strive for its development. Elections surveys say the BJP would get 200 to 220 seats while the NDA would capture 240 seats. But there is possibility that BJP would get majority in the elections, Naidu said.
Modi is efficient to provide good governance and America and European countries’ presidents have expressing their willingness to work with Modi.
Naidu said he is not involved in selection of candidates and tie-up with other parties. The State party would look into selections and alliances as per their requirements, he said, adding that he would not interfere in the selection of candidates and election tie-up with other parties in the State.
The BJP leader said chief ministers of various states and presidents of some political parties are eager to work with Modi. Modi is “Srirama Raksha” for the country, he said and asserted that BJP victory was necessary for development of Telangana and Seemandhra States. He also said regional parties have no chance of installing a national government at the Centre. That is the reason why the people want to vote for BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, he added. (NSS)
