BJP national leader M. Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday vehemently criticized the Congress leaders from Sonia and Rahul Gandhi to that party’s petty leaders for resorting to cheap politics and witch hunting BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi like barking dogs.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Venkaiah Naidu asserted that his party would definitely get more than 330 Lok Sabha seats and form NDA government at the Centre on its own. He also confidently said his party would not need any party’s support in this regard. Alleging that Congress leaders were stooping to low level politics under frustration, Venkaiah said no force on the earth could prevent Narendra Modi from becoming Prime Minister of India.
Accusing Congress leaders of resorting to personal attacks and mean politics, the BJP leader said the Congress leaders themselves landed in a controversy by making baseless allegations on Amit Shah and Snoopgate. As a last resort, the Congress leaders stooped to the very low level by talking about Narendra Modi’s caste, he said, adding that his party never talked about caste of any leader in the country from the beginning.
Stating that Sonia, Rahul and other middle level Congress leaders were not able to cogent and convincing explanation over their failures and forfeiting people’s confidence, Venkaiah alleged that Congress leaders, who lacked new thoughts, were digging their own grave by resorting to utter lies.
Alleging that Uttar Pradesh government has transformed into a government of scams, Venkaiah pointed out that Union Commerce Ministry had praised the land acquisition policy of the Modi government. Assailing the Akhilesh Yadav government for speaking lies with an attempt to hoodwink the people, the BJP leader reminded that the Gujarat government under stewardship of Narendra Modi bagged awards in several sectors.
