Venkaiah to demand mention of water projects in T-bill

Launching a scathing attack on the ruling Congress party for its policy on bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu today said there would be no water sharing problems in two States if the Centre mentioned about water projects in the bill.
Speaking at a function here, BJP former president assured that his party would protect all those who live in Hyderabad city. There were people belonging to all the regions and nobody has right to ask them to leave the city. When previous NDA government created three States, the people of those States were happy. But the Congress party conspired and going ahead to gain political mileage, he added. Though BJP is committed for Telangana State, there was a need to render justice to the Seemandhra people, he added.
The Centre, instead of carving out a separate State for Telangana, it was dividing the people, he alleged and said institutions like IIT and IIM should be set up in Seemandhra region. (NSS)
