BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu has criticized the Aam aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Minister Kejriwal and the Ministers for taking to streets. Naidu said that the people had voted AAM to power to govern in a responsible manner, but not to make them suffer. He said that every body was critical of AAP leaders’ actions.
Talking to reporters here today, he said that while the BJP was in favour of bringing Delhi police set up under Delhi state Government, the issue could not be decided on streets and there was need for a debate on it. He felt the idea of bringing Delhi Police under the state government was good. He, however, added it was necessary to have a debate on the issue as Delhi happens to be the capital and houses the central government, parliament and foreign embassies.
He said that the AAP had proved that it could organize only protests and could not solve problems of the people. “It has proved that it is an Anarchist Aadmi Party and not an Aam Aadmi Party,” he added.
