Veiled women forced to sell toys at Numaish to support family

Muslims’ backwardness has gone to such an extent that Muslim women are forced to work in factories, shops and in others houses to earn Rs/- 100 to 130 per day. Our correspondent found 3 burqa-clad women selling toys near Ajanta Gate of Numaish. The women on the condition of anonymity told that they belong to respectable families but since their husband’s income doesn’t fulfil the requirement of the house, they also do hard work to pay the house rent, electricity bill, children’s school fee etc. The trio are neighbours and work together. Islam has an exceptional system of Zakah and there is no dearth of well-off Muslims in our city, they also pay crores of rupees of Zakah. If the distribution of Zakah is done in a proper way or if the money is used to establish small scale industries, it would be very helpful for the poor families.
