Vegetable vendors of Moosapet market who were affected by Hyderabad Metrorail Project got respite when Hyderabad Metrorail Ltd and GHMC officials succeeded in providing them alternative stalls. HMR and GHMC officials have handed over the 33 stalls located underneath the Moosapet flyover to Moosapet Vegetable Market Company. The stalls were inaugurated by Kukatpally MLA Krishna Rao.
Kirshna Rao informed that the vegetable market was established by the housing board in 1980 however the market’s existence was at stake due to Hyderabad Metrorail Project. All the 40 stalls of Moosa market were evacuated for Metrorail project. Krishna Rao claimed that provision of alternative stalls for affected vendors is a welcome move.
