Vegetable Outlets to be Started at Metro Stations

The State Marketing Department is all set to start vegetable outlets ‘Mana Kooragayalu’, at Metro stations between Paradise and Miyapur in the city. To tart with, the outlets will be set up at 11 stations from the second week of June, and more such outlets will come up later.

The vegetable outlets will be quite convenient for the Metro passengers to carry the vegetables they needed while going home. The Marketing department and the Hyderabad Metro authorities have conducted a joint study for starting the vegetable outlets. According to Marketing Department General Manager Y J Padma Harsha, the department is running 56 such vegetable outlets in the Capital. Plans are afoot to start another 30 to 40 such outlets in the city by end of July. (NSS)
