CPM State secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram has stated that there was no change in the policies adopted by the TRS government when compared with the Congress and TDP government in United Andhra Pradesh State adopted.
Addressing the CPM plenary meeting at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram here on Tuesday, Thammineni alleged that the TRS government was not adopting alternative policies which needed for the State. Stating that the CPM was not against the acquisition of land, he alleged that the TRS government was forcefully acquiring lands from the farmers in the name of projects. He demanded the government to acquire the land to the extent it needed but not excessively. He alleged that the government was trying to hand over the lands to others. (NSS)
