Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s helicopter on Thurday made an emergency landing due to inclement weather in a village of Rajsamand district while she was on her way to Sirohi, officials said.
“All are safe,” Mahendra Bharadwaj, press advisor of the CM said, adding, the helicopter took off at 10.27 AM from Jaipur and landed after one hour in an open field in ’73’ village in Rajsamund, 334 kms from here. Raje was on her way from Jaipur to Sirohi, 416 kms from here.
“The CM was onboard the helicopter along with the staff members when the helicopter made an emergency landing in ’73’ village due to bad weather,” Rajsamand collector Archana Singh said. Senior district administration and police officials reached the spot, police control room said.
