Varanasi : BJP wins in voting machine and losses in Ballot voting

Varanasi: In the recently declared UP civic poll results, the BJP had sweeped the polls winning 14 out of 16 Municipal Corporations. But civic polls are not only about Municipal corporations but also Nagar panchayats and Municipalities where the BJP’s performance was well below and far from the outcome of Municipal Corporation results.

The Suspicions of opposition parties regarding the malfunctioning of EVM’s has been strengthened with BJP suffering heavy losses in  rural and semi urban seats where elections were conducted via ballot papers.

Ayodhya Municipal Corporation in which elections were conducted through EVM  has been won by BJP, whereas in the election results of seven districts adjoining Ayodhya the BJP suffered heavy losses.
