Vandalism in Kulsumpura masjid by local party activist

Hyderabad: Situation became tense last evening when an activist of the local party attacked a worker in Toli Masjid of Kulsumpura.

According to the details, yesterday at 3:30 p.m., Dastagir Pasha, Asifuddin and Sohail attacked Amer Ali Khan, a resident of Karwan for refusing to pay the amount. The victim has been admitted in hospital.

Dastagir Pasha had given a place 15 years back for a consideration of Rs. 50000 to Amer Ali Khan. He had started fabrication work at that place. On 24th April, Dastagir Pasha had attacked Amer but since compromise was made, no complaint was registered.

Yesterday, Dastagir Pasha, Asifuddin and Sohail attacked Amer Ali Khan with sticks and injured him. The victim received a deep wound on his head. He was shifted to Osmania General Hospital where the doctors stitched the wound. He was later shifted to a private hospital in Kachiguda where his condition is reported to be very serious.

Mr. R.M. Ram Mohan Rao, Inspector of Police of Kulsumpura told that a case of attempt to murder was registered against the three accused. Asifuddin and Sohail have been arrested. It was reported that Dastagir Pasha has been harassing the businessmen of the locality for making payments to him. He also threatened them of dire consequences if the payment is not received. It is said that Dastagir Pasha is harassing the other businessmen misusing his contacts with the local political party. He is out of clutches of the police so far due to political influence.
