London, Sept.10 : Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has conceded that his side will not win the 2015 Premier League season, adding that he hopes his team could finish second or third.
United are currently fifth in the table with seven points from four games played this season.
Van Gaal further said that his assistant Ryan Giggs would succeed him at Old Trafford when he steps down from the post in 2017, the Mirror reported.
Describing Wayne Rooney as the ‘best captain’ he has ever coached, Van Gaal also praised the United striker for breaking Sir Bobby Charlton’s all-time England record of 49 goals.
United will next take on Liverpool in their Premier League match on Saturday. (ANI)
