Dharamsala, January 14: BJP stalwart and former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today congratulated Himachal Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on successful completion of three years in office and lauded the achievements of the state government.
In his letter to Dhumal, Vajpayee said he was emotionally attached to the people of Himachal Pradesh, which he considered his “second home”.
“Undoubtedly, the state is poised to emerge as a role model for rest of the country in many sectors,” he said.
Expressing satisfaction over achievements of the BJP government in the state, Vajpayee said it not only fulfilled the promises made in the election manifesto but gone beyond that to achieve distinctions on different fronts.
