Vaddera, Vaddi, Vaddila Samkhema Sangham Greater Hyderabad president Gunja Srinivas has demanded the Central government to include Vaddera caste into either SC or ST list.
Speaking to the media persons here Sunday, he demanded the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to give top priority to Vaddera caste community leaders in the nominated posts in the state, as there is no MLA or MLC from the caste. He wanted the state government to provide the right on quarries to their caste community. He demanded the state government to set up Vaddera Hostel in every district to provide education to vaddera students from 5th class to Degree level. He wanted the state government to provide priority to their community people in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme works, and to take steps to provide bank loans to procure machinery to their community people.
