Vaccination for selected Haj pilgrims

Hyderabad: Vaccination for selected Haj pilgrims belonging to Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts will be held on July 16, 17 and 18 at Haj House, Nampally, announced Mohammed Masiullah Khan, chairman Telangana State haj committee.

He was speaking at the 13th Training Camp for the Haj pilgrims at Masjid Baghdadi Tek, Nampally today. He said Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will inaugurate the Vaccination Camp on Monday at 11am. He advised the pilgrims to avail of the facility.

Addressing the gathering, Special Officer State Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor said pilgrims will be administered Anti Meningitis vaccines and Polio drops, besides pilgrims of 70 years and above will be given Seasonal Influenza Vaccines. He said that on the first day, pilgrims of Cover No. 0001 to 3000 will be given vaccinations. On Tuesday, pilgrims under cover number 3001 to 6000 and on Wednesday under Cover No. 6001 to 7000 will be administered vaccines.

Eminent scholar Moulana Syed Qubool Pasha Shuttari, General Secretary Sader Majlis Ulma-e- Deccan advised the pilgrims to show utmost respect in Madeena al Munnawar, the city of the Holy Prophet. Muneerduddin Mukhtar, president of the Masjid Committee, advised the pilgrims not to lift any item while in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it is a crime there and not to carry any parcel from anybody. Moulana Ziauddin Naqshbandi, Moulana Hafiz Shaik Mohiuddin Sharfi, Moulana Ahsan Al-Hamumi of Royal Mosque, Public Gardens also spoke. Abu Talha Amjad, Member of the Haj Committee, was also present.
