A Vaccination Camp for the selected Haj pilgrims belonging to Hyderabad and RR districts was inaugurated by Nampally MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj in Haj House at Nampally here on Tuesday.
The Telangana State Haj Committee in collaboration with the Inistitute of Prenventive Medicine, Hyderabad, the Princess Esra Hospital DCMS Charminar and the DMHO Hyderabad has orgniased this three day Vaccination Camp, which will last upto September 4.
Minorities Welfare Department Director Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber congratulated the pilgrims and requested them to pray for the protection of Wakf properties in the state. SHC Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor said that on the first day i.e. Tuesday, vaccines were administered to the pilgrims under Cover No 2500, while on the second day pilgrims from Cover No 2501 to 5000 and on the third day pilgrims from Cover No. 5001 to 7150 would be administered the Meningitis Vaccine and Polio drops. He requested the Haj pilgrims to bring HAT Card with them.
Vaccines for the pilgrims belonging to various districts have already been sent to the respective districts and arrangements are being made for its administration. (INN)
