Vacant teacher posts to be filled-in shortly

The Minister for Education G Jadishwar Reddy on Tuesday informed that the vacant teacher posts in the Telangana State would be filled up as early as possible.

Speaking to the media here, Jagadishwar Reddy said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) would hold a review meeting on recruitment of teacher posts. The education system in the Telangana has collapsed during the Andhra rulers’ period. The Telangana Government was preparing a plan for “KG to PG free education”, which was a dream project of the Chief Minister. He also made it clear that steps would be taken up for controlling the fees of private schools. The government schools would be developed so that the government employees also prefer to admit their children in them, he added.

The Minister said that the state government was giving top priority to provide basic facilities and infrastructure in government schools. He asked the teachers to become part in the reconstruction of the Telangana. (NSS)
