Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, accompanied by his family members, on Monday morning had a darshan of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadagirigutta temple in Nalgonda district.
On arrival, the Home Minister and his entourage were accorded warm welcome by the temple officials and priests with the traditional “Poorna Kumbham”. The Minister performed special pujas to the presiding deities.
Speaking to mediapersons later, the Home Minister said vacancies in the Police department would be filled soon. He also said the security setup in Yadagirigutta will be upgraded by posting a deputy superintendent of police in the pilgrim town. Besides, a check-post would be set up on the ghat road, he added.
