Measures will be taken soon to fill the sanctioned posts in Minority Welfare Department and vacant post of Urdu teachers. Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel told that recruitments were not made since the formation of Minority Welfare Department as a result the department faces staff crunch.
Consequently implementation of government scheme is being delayed. Representation was made with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on which 80 posts were sanctioned in cabinet meeting. Syed Omer Jaleel told that 20 new posts were sanctioned in Minority Welfare Directorate Hyderabad while 60 posts will be divided in districts. Atleast 8 new posts will be created in each district. He said approval of Finance Department will soon be taken.
