Union minister for urban development M Venkaiah Naidu today said Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is a person who has a vision and transparency.
He was addressing a foundation stone laying ceremony here. Union minister for road transport and highways and shipping Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation for six lane Durgamma Gudi flyover and road widening of four lane, up-gradation of three different roads.
Venakaiah Naidu predicted that Andhra Pradesh would emerge as a strong state in future. The initiative of Chandrababu Naidu for six lane Durgamma Gudi flyover and road widening to four lane in Vijayawada city would always be remembered, the union minister said adding that more shipyards would developed in the state.
` Entire world is looking towards India and many countries are coming forward to invest in the country, Venkaiah Naidu said.
Speaking on the occasion, union minister of State Sujana Choudhary said various welfare programmes are being implemented in the State with the support of the NDA government. The state has 970 km long coast and there is possibility of development of more shipyards, he said.
Besides the chief minister, state ministers Chinarajappa, Sidda Raghava Rao, Devineni Uma, Kamineni Srinivas, MPs Kesineni Nani, Haribabu, Gokaraju Gangaraju, Konakolla Narayana and others attended the function.(NSS)
