V. Hanumatha Rao demands the Governor to take action against those who are spreading rumors

(Siasat News)Rajya Sabha M.P (Congress) Mr. V.Hanumantha Rao met the Governor of A.P. and demanded him to take action against those who are spreading rumors about Assamese and also to protect their lives. He questioned the C.M. for not accepting the resignation of Mr. Dharmana Prasada Rao who resigned on moral grounds.

He talked to the Governor in detail about the fear and feeling of insecurity among the people of Assam living in Hyderabad. He told that Hyderabad is a city of Ganga-Jamuna civilization. Some anti-social elements are spreading rumors among the people of Assam and Northeastern people living in Hyderabad. He told that they should not fear, Govt. would protect them fully.

Criticizing the C.M., Mr. Hanumantha Rao advised him to act on his own instead of depending Congress High Command for everything. He questioned him “Did he consult when he dismissed Dr. P.Shanker Rao from the cabinet?” and “Did he take permission from Ms. Sonia Gandhi for starting Indiramma Bata Programme?” He also condemned the YSR Congress workers for comparing Mahatma Gandhi with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Rejecting the criticisms of Congress leaders, he said that he didn’t earn money like Jagan Mohan Reddy. He came up by putting in hard work in Youth Congress.

He played a key role in making Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy APCC President.
