Uttam sure of wresting power on Dec. 11

Hyderabad: TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy today said his party-led Praja Kutami will be forming the next government in the State by winning 75 to 86 Assembly seats and form the government. He also said TRS party would not get more than 35 Assembly seats in the December 7 elections.

Addressing mediapersons here today along with the alliance partners, Uttam thanked all the party workers for working hard to ensure victory of the party. He alleged that the EC had failed in several aspects in the just-concluded elections while citing the apology given by the CEO Rajat Kumar of the EC. He also said some people expressed doubts over transportation of EVMs and their safe custody. He also expressed doubts over the replacement of the EVMs.

He called upon the party workers to keep a constant watch on all the strong rooms where the EVMs were kept. Urging the EC to take all steps over the monitoring of the strong rooms, Uttam said they had information that some people were going inside the strong rooms without the EC permission. He also said names of thousands of voters in the State had gone missing from the voters’ list.

Commenting on the exit polls of different organizations, Uttam they would not believe any of them while noting that he already had a talk with India Today group journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on the issue. He said Rajdeep asked him to not believe any of the surveys.
TTDP president L. Ramana said the people of the State were going to bless the grand alliance with power. He alleged that CM KCR had gone for early elections with ill intentions. Reiterating that the CM had not fulfilled any of his promises, he alleged that KCR had gone for the elections after mobilizing huge amounts of money for the election expenditure.
