Uttam repeats corruption in irrigation projects

Alleging that the looting system was ruling the state, TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has alleged that huge corruption taking place in irrigation projects. He alleged that extending Rs.4000 per acre was an election stunt of TRS government and assured that the Congress party would waive off Rs.2lakh at one go if it comes to power.

Addressing the Congress party Praja Chaithanya Bus Yatra public meeting here on Tuesday, Uttam said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government neglected farmers for the last four years and made it clear that the Congress would do justice to all sections of the people if it comes to power. He also said that the Congress party would set up a Committee to examine the possibility of changing their reservation from BC-D to BC-A.

Legislative Council opposition leader Shabbir Ali has alleged that there were six Telangana betrayers were there in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Cabinet. Finding fault with the TRS leaders for terming Congress as Loafer party, Shabbir Ali said that KCR was big Loafer than Congress party. He alleged that the Congress party deceived the Muslims by assuring them that it will implement 12 percent reservations before the elections if TRS comes to power but did nothing. He said that the Congress party was only the party thinking about development of poor. (NSS)
