Hyderabad: TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday held a teleconference with party leaders and workers of the State and called upon them to get ready for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He urged the party leaders and workers to devote themselves for a period of some 65 days and work hard for the victory of the party in the upcoming elections.
The TPCC president exhorted the party workers that the election schedule was likely to be issued in the last week of February and added that a formal Election notification would be released in the month of March. He told the party workers that it was time for all of them to ensure that the AICC president Rahul Gandhi became Prime Minister by sending 16 MPs from the Telangana State alone. He also said the party would complete the selection process of the candidates by the end of this month. He said all party workers should work hard for the victory of the party candidates.
