Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has appealed to the Left Parties and YSR Congress Party to support the Congress party in the Warangal by-elections.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Left Parties, YSRCP and various Joint Action Committees should support Congress candidate Sircilla Rajaiah in the by-elections for Warangal Lok Sabha seat. He alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has been functioning like a dictator and anti-people and anti-farmers policies were being implemented in the State. Therefore, he said united struggle was required to defeat the TRS. He said that the Congress leaders would personally meet the leaders of CPI, CPM and YSRCP to seek their support.
The TPCC chief demanded a high-level probe into the allegations of being leveled against KCR. He said that the Congress party would expose the irregularities committed by the TRS Government during the election campaign. (INN)
