Washington: State Department Spokesman, John Kirby said that the stabbing of a Palestinian by a 17-year-old Israeli in Dimona was an “act of terrorism”.
Four Palestinian men were stabbed by a Jewish settler. Two of the victims were seriously injured while two others sustained minor injuries.
Kirby commented on the issue ahead of Secretary of State John Kerry’s expected visit to the region where violent clashes have erupted between Palestinian youth and Israeli troops.
However, Kirby said that Kerry is visiting the region to find out ways to reduce the tensions between Palestinian and Israeli troops.
