Washington: The US stands in solidarity with India in the aftermath of the terror attacks in Pathankot and Majar-e-Sharif, a top American lawmaker today said, underlining that America will continue to work together in the fight against “Islamic extremist terrorists”.
“My heartfelt sympathies are with the victims and families of those killed in the recent attacks on India’s Pathankot Airforce base as well as the attack on the Indian Consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif in Afghanistan,” Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard said.
A democratic lawmaker from Hawaii, Gabbard is the first ever elected Hindu to the US House of Representatives.
“We stand in solidarity with India in the face of these attacks, and will continue to work together in this fight against Islamic extremist terrorists,” Gabbard said in a statement.
