London, Oct 11 : Defence officials of the United States and Russia held a 90-minute long video conference to discuss the safe flight zone over Syria with ‘progress’ during the talks.
According to The Guardian, the US Defence Department said that the discussions were professional and focused on putting specific safety procedures into effect.
The department also said that the US had agreed to hold another discussion with Russia soon.
The US has been conducting airstrikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ( ISIS) since September 2014. (ANI)
