US man gets 25 yrs after pleading guilty to sending poison-laced letters to Obama

A former U.S. martial arts instructor has pleaded guilty to sending poison-laced letters to President Barack Obama and other officials.

James Everett Dutschke would serve 25 years in prison after he reached a plea agreement with the prosecutors, the Washington Times reports.

Prosecutors said that the 42-year-old tried to frame Elvis impersonator Paul Kevin Curtis, who was initially charged in the investigation.

Dutschke has been jailed since April on charges of sending the letters to Obama, Republican U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, and a Mississippi judge. (ANI)
