Washington, Apr. 11 (ANI): The U.S. State Department has issued a warning to residents travelling in Pakistan to be on guard for terrorist attacks. A State Department warning said that the presence of several foreign and indigenous terrorist groups poses a potential danger to US citizens throughout Pakistan, where terrorist attacks frequently occur against civilian, government and foreign targets, reports the Washington Times. The advisory also warned against the potential for kidnapping. Pakistani radicals often abduct people and use them to get ransom money, the report said. The warning further said that terrorist groups in Pakistan continue to seek opportunities to attack locations where US citizens and Westerners are known to congregate or visit. (ANI)
