Washington/Islamabad: Defending his decision to withdraw hundreds of millions of dollars in security aid to Pakistan, Trump said, “I ended it because they don’t do anything for us, they don’t do a damn thing for us.” He added, that Pakistan took their money and did nothing for them.
Trump alleged that Pakistan that had harboured Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda. He said everyone knew Bin Laden was living in the country before he was killed in an American military raid in 2011.
Reacting angrily to criticism by President Trump, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan responded by saying that Pakistan had suffered enough fighting terrorism on behalf of the United States.
