US flight cleared after possible terror threat

Washington, April 29: A Continental Airlines flight to Washington from Houston was cleared after being diverted on Wednesday to North Carolina because of a threatening message found in the bathroom, the second plane threat in as many days.

Continental flight 3006 landed at Greensboro, North Carolina, where passengers were interviewed about a threatening message was found on the mirror in the bathroom, the Transportation Security Administration said.

The flight resumed its trip to Washington Dulles International Airport with all 45 passengers aboard after several hours on the ground, according to the airline.

A Delta flight from Paris to Atlanta was diverted to Maine

on Tuesday after a passenger made threats about a possible bomb on board. The individual in that incident was charged on Wednesday with interfering with a flight crew and making false bomb threats.
