In the wake of COP-21 Summit at Paris, the U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad is conducting an online photo contest for students. The theme of the photo contest is “Act on Climate: Causes, Impact, Mitigation”. The goal of the contest is to bring out the connection between climate change and our daily lives. The photographs should vividly capture any natural/cultural/man-made reality and impact of climate change in the student’s surroundings.
The contest is for students between the ages of 14-20 years. This contest is open to Indian nationals residing in the three states of the consular district: Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Photographs should be digitally submitted, each entrant can submit up to three photos.
The contest ends on Sunday, December 13, 2015.
All photos will be screened by well-known photographers and a panel of officials from the Consulate General of the United States of America, Hyderabad. The criteria for judging are: 1. Originality 2. Creativity 3.Effectiveness 4. Photo Quality.
