The Centenary Celebrations of Urs of the founder of Jamia Nizamia, Hyderabad, Hazrath Anwarullah Farooqui will be celebrated on a grand scale. Director of Jamia Nizamia, Mufti Khaleel Ahmed told that Hazrath Anwarullah Farooqui was a versatile genius who spread Islamic knowledge through this institution. He was also a social reformer. He had advised to teach technical skills and modern knowledge to the students of this institution. In the light of his teachings, English language has also been included in the syllabus.
On the occasion of Urs Centenary Celebrations, various special educational programs will be organized. He advised the old students of Jamia Nizamia to established Islamic Teaching Institutions in various states. In the consultative meeting held yesterday there were delegates from A.P., Telangana, Maharashtra, MP , Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Bihar. Maulana Mohammed Fasiuddin Nizami conducted the meeting and Maulana Syed Shah Namathullah Quadri, Hostel Warden of Jamia Nizamia proposed vote of thanks. Maulana Mohammed Obaidullah Faheem, Superintendent of Jamia Nizamia supervised the arrangements.
