Hyderabad: Office bearers of State Urdu Teachers Association Telangana (SOTA), Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, Mohammed Anwer ul Baqi, Mohammed Abdul Jabbar Afroz, Mohammed Khaja Moinuddin, Mohammed Siddique Ahmed, Sajid Mohiuddin, and Khaja Farooquddin Wahaj in a joint statement said that Urdu teachers are completely ignored for State Best Teachers Award.
Every year education department shows prejudice towards teachers of Urdu schools. Atleast 4 teachers of Urdu medium should have been selected for Best Teachers’ Award on state level. They urged education minister and higher officials of Education Department to do justice towards Urdu Medium teachers.
