Hyderabad: Exams for recruitment on 66 posts of Urdu Officers in Minority Welfare Department will be held today at 5 centres of Hyderabad. The exam is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).
A total of 5496 candidates will appear in the exams for both Grade I and Grade II Urdu officers. 978 candidates applied for Grade I while 4518 candidates applied for Grade II. Grade II exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm while Grade I exam will be held from 2 to 5 pm.
According to Prof. S A Shukoor one centre has been allotted to candidates appearing in both the exams. Tight security arrangements have been made at the exam centres.
JNTU will announce results within one month of conducting the exam.
