Urdu missing from Kachiguda Railway Station

A 10 feet board stating the history of Kachiguda Railway Station is set up on the station, which has inscription in 3 languages English, Hindi and Telugu while Urdu has been completely ignored despite the fact the historic Railway Station was established by Asif Jahi rulers in 1916. The station has been declared as the best architectural masterpiece of South Central Railway. Construction of the station with 5 tombs began in the year 1916 and was completed in 1935.

Government’s negligence and Urdu animosity is evident from the fact that 3 years have passed since the Urdu Board of the station is without one of the three dots of the Urdu alphabet ‘cheem’ which comes in the word Kachiguda but the same has not been corrected till date. Now a board narrating history has been set up but without Urdu inscription on it.
