Leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir reacted strongly on ignoring Urdu in TSPSC Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Recruitment 2015 exam. He told that Telangana formation had raised a lot of hopes among the minorities that justice would be done to them in government recruitment but all their hopes shattered at the very first phase of recruitment.
He maintained that as the Public Service Commission had decided to conduct General Studies’ paper for Telugu medium students in their mother tongue similarly the paper should have been provided in Urdu for Urdu medium students.
Mr. Shabbir claimed that Public Service Commission forgot the promise of TRS government to give Urdu language its due place and to ensure development of minorities. If the paper is supplied in Urdu language minorities would have an advantage, he said. He reiterated that now that there was only one day left for the exam Public Service Commission should provide Urdu paper on urgent basis as it was decided to provide paper in Telugu two days ago.
