(Siasat News) The 44th Annual Function of Govt. Jr. College (Boys) Koratla was held on 31st December under the Chairmanship of Mr. Mohammed Abdul Wahed, Principal of the College, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Aleem, State Vice President of Welfare party of India. Mr. Mohammed Nayeemuddin, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami, Mr. Mohammed Rafiuddin, Mr. M. Rajanna, Rtd. Principal etc., attend the meeting.
Mr. Abdul Wahed told that this college was established in 1969 with the hard work the students have gained many successes. Ms. Yasmeen daughter of Mohammed Abdul Majeed got Govt. seat in M.B.B.S. and Ms. Juveria Tabbasum of HEC group secured state level 10th rank in the district. This girl got Rs. 10,000/- prize from North American Telugu Association in a program held at Ravendra Bharathi. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy presented this award. This girl is also getting Rs. 2,000 per month for meeting her educational expenses. She will continue to get this financial aid till she completes P.G. course. This college gets Rs. 12,000 per year scholarships from Maulana Azad Trust.
Mr. Ahmed Abdul Nayeem, State Vice President of Welfare Party of India advised the students to study and work hard. He offered to give Rs. 5,000 prize every year to the topper students of this college. Mr. Ghouse-Ur-Rahman lecturer in Economics conducted the meeting.
