Govt. constructed a 3 storey building for Urdu medium primary school at Nawab Sahab Kunta in Bahadurpura Assembly constituency. It has six rooms but it is very regrettable that this building has no basic amenities although 3 months have elapsed after reopening of the school. It has classes I-V but there are only two teachers in the school. The students of 5 classes are being taught in 2 rooms only due to lack of teachers. There are no benches due to which the students are forced to sit on the floor. The school in-charge of Sanjay Gandhi Nagar told that requests have been made for a number of times to the Dy. Education Officer but the officials of the Dept. of Education are dilly dallying the process of furnishing this school since it is an Urdu Medium institution. Is it not an exploitation of the poor.
The residents of the locality have requested the authorities of school education to seek a report from the concerned and take immediate steps to furnish this school and to appoint sufficient number of teachers.
