Hyderabad is the biggest center among the districts of the state where the government of Andhra Pradesh has declared Urdu as the second official language. There is also a large number of Urdu speaking people in Hyderabad. It is the duty of the concerned district collector to execute the official status of Urdu language in the districts where Urdu has been declared as the second official language.
President Ambedkar National Congress Nawab Mohammed Kazim Ali Khan in a statement told that Urdu language has been purposely wiped out from collector office of Hyderabad district.
In a statement he said the sign boards of the offices in the collector office premises have been written in only Telugu and English languages and not in Urdu. The official who has undertaken the work has done this in sheer violation of the government orders and has made mockery of the status of Urdu language.
Only the sign board regarding Urdu cell has Urdu board along with English.
