Urdu Ghar in final phase of construction

The one of its kind, the state of the art, auditorium in old city Hyderabad will soon be opened for Urdu people. The construction of the Urdu Ghar, constructed with the cost of Rs. 1.5 crore at Moti Gali is in its final phase and is likely to be inaugurated soon. The state of the art Urdu Ghar can rightly be called as the Ravindra Bharti of old city.

The two storied building constructed on an area of 2200 sqyd has two auditoriums and two functions can be organized at a time. The large auditorium has a capacity of 450 audiences while the smaller one has a seating capacity for 100 people.

Secretary/director Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor told that it will be the largest and the state of the art Urdu Ghar of old city and government will soon fix the date of its inauguration after proposing a name for it.
